The Little Rann of Kutch is a salt marsh in the Thar Desert of Gujarat, India. It is separated from the Great Rann of Kutch by the Gulf of Kutch and spans an area of about 5,000 square kilometers. The Little Rann of Kutch is home to the last population of the Asiatic wild ass, which is a critically endangered species. The area is also known for its unique biodiversity, including various species of birds, reptiles, and mammals.

Enroute boat ride at Nalsarovar
Nalsarovar is a bird sanctuary and lake covering an area of about 120 square kilometers and are home to over 200 species of migratory and resident birds.
Nalsarovar is an important breeding site for many bird species, including flamingos, pelicans, ducks, herons, egrets, and storks. The best time to visit the sanctuary is between November and February when a large number of migratory birds arrive from different parts of the world.
The sanctuary is managed by the Gujarat Forest Department and is a protected area under the Wildlife Protection Act of India.
Morning blackbuck safari
Velavadar Blackbuck National Park, The park covers an area of 34.08 square kilometers and was established in 1976 to protect the blackbuck, an endangered species of antelope found in the grasslands of India. Apart from blackbucks, the park is also home to other wildlife such as Indian wolves, striped hyenas, Indian foxes, jungle cats, and various bird species. The grasslands of Velavadar also support a diverse range of plant species.
